Debbie Richardson is the Vice President of Talent Management at Berkshire Healthcare Systems, a not-for-profit organization providing rehabilitation, skilled nursing, long-term care, hospice and residential services to 20 communities throughout Massachusetts. As the Vice President of Talent Management, Debbie provides overall strategic leadership for developing, communicating and executing a comprehensive talent strategy that supports and drives a high performance culture. This includes key initiatives in the areas of leadership development, workforce planning, employee engagement, recruitment/retention, performance management, talent/succession planning and learning and development. Of particular focus is evolving the organization’s core leadership and cultural competencies to equip leaders with the tools, skills, and knowledge to lead change efforts, manage people, and lead their functional areas. Debbie has been with Berkshire for over 10 years. She first joined the organization as the Director of Education and Training. In this role Debbie developed and implemented a comprehensive regional wide education and competency function that has contributed to the organization’s clinical and service excellence achievements. Prior to joining Berkshire, Debbie held various leadership roles during her 25 years in healthcare providing operational oversight in the post-acute environment.
