Anne Monahan is Vice President, Talent Solutions and Chief Talent Officer for BAE Systems, Inc. Her responsibilities include developing and implementing an integrated talent management strategy and leading the following practice areas: high potential identification, assessment and development, succession planning and talent review, diversity and inclusion, leadership and management development and OD. She also has global company responsibilities by managing HR projects and activities that benefit all BAE Systems markets, including managing BAE Systems’ suite of global high potential leadership programs. Prior to this role Anne served as the Chief Learning Officer for BAE Systems, Inc from 2011-2014 and was responsible for creating and executing the learning strategy, providing executive, leader and management development and for advancing learning technologies for the company.

Prior to her appointment as Chief Learning Officer, Anne was the Director of Talent Management for 7 years. While in this position, Anne’s responsibilities included the identification, assessment and development of high potential talent. She also managed the company’s succession process and was responsible for all aspects of the leadership framework processes for approximately 2000 BAE Systems leaders. Among these processes were the performance management system, a three-tiered assessment framework and assessment centers, and annual leadership 360.

Before joining BAE Systems in 2004, Anne’s early professional experience includes 15 years in the finance industry (banking and investment firms) where she was a registered stock broker. While in the finance industry Anne made the transition to learning and development and worked on several merger and acquisition teams where she specialized in needs assessment, culture assessment and instructional design. Anne earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Maryland.
