Vice President of Employee Experience Turner Broadcasting
Alisha Penick is VP of Employee Experience for Turner Broadcasting. Turner is a Time Warner company that creates branded news, entertainment, animation and young adult content on multiple platforms across the world.
From 2000 to 2005, Alisha provided strategic direction to Turner’s retirement and work life programs. In 2006, she was promoted to Director of Employee Benefits to lead Turner’s employee appreciation events and programs focused on health, family, and money. From 2012 through 2015, Alisha’s role expanded to include strategic leadership of Turner’s rewards, engagement, corporate responsibility, employee culture, global mobility, and talent services.
Her teams deliver programs, events, initiatives and services that support employees at work and in life. Turner’s rewards package includes competitive compensation and benefits, with an emphasis on employee wellness and work/life harmony. Engagement initiatives at Turner focus on promoting a workplace that values the inclusion of diverse perspectives and experiences to enrich the company’s brands and programming. The mobility team supports the businesses global mobile workforce through tax, relocation, expatriate, and payroll services. Turner's talent service team supports over 8,000 U.S. employees with their HR, benefit and payroll needs and provides analytics to HR and the business to inform Turner’s talent strategy.
Prior to joining Turner, she worked as a benefits consultant for Caribiner International, based in New York. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and a Master’s in Business Administration, with a concentration in Health Administration, from Auburn University.
She is a Board member of CTHRA (Cable and Telecommunications Human Resources Association) and Clean Air Campaign.
